These data are the output of an analysis of areas suitable for energy production from nearshore wave energy devices. The analysis defines suitability by evaluating the quality of the site for energy production; how easily and cost effectively energy can be integrated into a power grid, and; the ease of access to the site for installation and maintenance. Results are represented as percentages indicating relative suitability.
